How to find an internship
Students autonomously contact the structures at which they intend to carry out the curricular internship and agree on the times and methods of carrying out the activities, which must then be included in the training project, the document that regulates the entire internship.
COMPANIES WHICH HAVE AGREEMENTS WITH THE UNIVERSITY
The search for a company can begin here:
- the notice board with the Co.R. offers on the Almalaurea portal
- the list of companies who already have agreements with the University of Pavia
- a selection of internships especially aimed at students attending our courses
COMPANIES WHICH DO NOT HAVE AGREEMENTS WITH THE UNIVERSITY
It is also possible to propose an internship with a company identified independently and not yet affiliated with the University of Pavia. In this case, the first necessary step is for the company to request and activate the agreement for carrying out the internship: the agreement procedure takes place online through the "AlmaLaurea" portal, does not involve any obligation for the company and ensures adequate insurance cover while students are working.

How to activate an internship
Once the company has been identified and the contents of the project have been agreed upon (the agreement can be made by replying to an offer on the Almalaurea bulletin board or by contacting the company directly), it is necessary to take the following steps to activate the internship:
- Students access the AlmaLaurea portal by going to their Reserved Area> Internships and Internships> Access AlmaLaurea or by connecting directly to the AlmaLaurea link: (go to the site). When logging in for the first time, students must register; for subsequent access, the credentials obtained at the time of registration must be used.
- The company proceeds with the compilation and upload of the training project with the details of the activities to be carried out.
- The training project is viewed by the university tutor who will have to approve it. After a check by the Student Administration Office in order to assess the correctness of the procedure, the company and the student will receive the first notification via email.
- At this point, students must access the AlmaLaurea platform, click on the right of the screen under the heading MANAGE YOUR INTERNSHIPS, and view the training project relating to the internship they wish to carry out.
- Subsequently, by clicking on INTERNSHIP DETAIL they will be able to view the period, the company and the status (Approved / Not approved).
- On the DETAIL page, students have to download the form, sign it and submit it for the signature of the company tutor (the university tutor will have already digitally signed it).
- Once the form has been signed, students must scan it and upload it in the DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT section by clicking on ADD ATTACHMENT.
- Students have to wait for a second email relating to the activation of the internship. Once this has been obtained, they can begin their internship.
Attention: before carrying out any activity, the activation of the internship and the start of the internship period indicated in the training project must be confirmed: no activity undertaken outside the period indicated in the training project will be recognized!
